Over the Moon Sam Falls and Joe Zorrilla

Project Space Exhibition- Open on Main Floor

SDAI presents immersive video work by Sam Falls and Joe Zorrilla in its main floor Project Space from August 28th. Over the Moon is a contemplative piece focused on 11 minutes of the moon's journey through the vantage point of a viewer on the ground.

Sam Falls (b. 1984 San Diego) Lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. He received his MFA from ICP-Bard in 2010. He has had solo exhibitions at the Hammer Museum, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Trento and Rovereto, Italy, The Kitchen, New York, and the Ballroom Marfa, Texas among others and his work is held in major public and private collections.

Joe Zorrilla (b. 1982 Santa Ana, California) Lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. He received his MFA from California Institute of the Arts in 2012. He has had exhibitions at Galerie Greta Meert, Brussels, Hannah Hoffman, LA Ibid Gallery LA, and M+B Gallery and his work is in the collection of MoCA LA.

This artwork is on loan to SDAI from the collection of R. F. Jefferies and can be viewed free of charge.
